Heloisa Helena Griggs is the Chief Operating Officer at Samvid Philanthropies. Previously, she spent 14 years at the Open Society Foundations leading program strategies to advance socioeconomic well-being. Prior to Open Society, Griggs served as counsel to U.S. Senator Richard J. Durbin on the Senate Judiciary Committee and worked as an associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. She holds a BA in History and International Studies from Yale University and a JD from Yale Law School.
